Algoma High School has five teachers that have volunteered to jump into the icy cold water on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at the Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics. All proceeds from this event sponsor the Special Olympics program.
For the first time, the Polar Plunge is moving to Lambeau Field! On February 24, 2018, our teachers will be among the first in the country to take the Polar Plunge at iconic Lambeau Field and experience Wisconsin’s COOLEST winter festival.
At half-time of the girl’s varsity basketball game against Kewaunee on January 23, 2018, game attendees will be asked to open their hearts and wallets as we do a Music Miracle. While the AHS Pep Band plays one short song, student volunteers will be in each section of the bleachers ready to take any donation you’re willing to give.
Prior to the end of the game, the grand total collected will be announced. Thank you for your generosity!
The game begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Algoma High School, 1715 Division Street.
