Free Blood Pressure Screening February 18

Free Blood Pressure Screening February 18

Stop by the Algoma Wellness Center, 1715 Division Street in Algoma on February 18, 2016 beginning at 6:00pm for a free blood pressure screening brought to you by Live Algoma.

According to the American Heart Association*, the key to preventing cardiovascular disease, also called coronary artery disease (CAD), is managing your risk factors, such as high blood pressure, high total cholesterol or high blood glucose. The best way to find out is through screening tests.

Blood pressure is one of the most important screenings because high blood pressure usually has no symptoms so it can’t be detected without being measured.

After your screening, stay and watch the Varsity Lady Wolves take on the Kewaunee Storm at 7:30pm. The JV game starts at 6:00pm.
