Bird City Algoma Photo Contest

Bird City Algoma Photo Contest

In May 2013, Algoma became an official Bird City Wisconsin. One of the requirements for this status is to have an annual Bird City celebration. In 2018, the celebration will be held on April 7, 2018, at the Algoma Youth Club.

New for 2018,  the Bird City committee added a ‘photo contest’ to encourage our youth to be involved. Thus an invitation is being extended to all Kewaunee County middle school and high school students interested in photography to enter the contest. There are significant prizes for winners.
