 Algoma Wolf Tech Community Fab Lab Series

Did you ever want to craft or build a project that you pinned on Pinterest, but never had the equipment or space to do? Well, now you have the opportunity! Algoma Wolf Tech is holding The Community Fab Lab Series.

All Guidance, materials, and equipment are provided to complete your projects. Feel free bring additional materials to customize and make it your own. All experience levels welcome from newbies to professionals.  Sign up early for your desired Lab as spots are usually limited and classes fill up fast!

The Community Fab Lab Series: Wooden Ornaments

Make a Wooden OrnamentCome down on Saturday, November 25, 2017, from 9 a.m. -2:30 p.m. during Small Business Saturday and craft your own wooden ornaments. Size range is 2-5” diameter log cookies.

Paint, crafts, wood burners, mod podge, and ribbon will be available for your crafty hands. Bring along your children to make that unique gift for a teacher, grandparents, special someone, etc.

NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED! BRING YOUR PHOTOS to mod podge a picture.

The Community Fab Lab Series: Rustic Tree

Saturday, December 2, 2017

Session Times:

  • 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • 1 p.m.-3 p.m.

Guidance, materials, and equipment will be provided to complete this project. All experience levels welcome from newbies to professionals. Come and be part of this new and exciting project. You will have the ability to operate a miter saw, cordless drills, and pneumatic air guns.

Spots will be limited to 10 participants per class time.

Large Tree will stand about 36”, Small tree will stand about 18”.
Trees will include the top star and base.
Wood will be unfinished.

Recommended Donation:$20 large tree, $10 small tree

To reserve your spot: email Mr. Abel at Mabel@alghs.k12.wi.us and please include which time slot you would like and which tree size you wish to make.

  • 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
  • 1 p.m.-3 p.m.

Guidance, materials, and equipment will be provided to complete this project. All experience levels welcome from newbies to professionals. Come and be part of this new and exciting project. You will have the ability to operate a cordless drill, dowels and pneumatic air guns.

 

Spots will be limited to 10 participants per class time.
Large snowman will stand about 30”-36” (3logs), Small snowman will stand about 14”-20”(2logs).
Project will include the hat, scarf, and paint.
Log cookies will be unfinished, natural, and may vary in size, shape, and species.

Recommended Donation:$30large snowman, $20 small snowman
