Every year members of the Algoma community and fellow students gather together and organize a Halloween Walk for children of all ages. 2019 marks the 13th year of this event.

As a non-profit organization the Halloween Walk’s goal is to give children a safe and fun opportunity to meet their favorite TV/Movie characters.

Children dress in their Halloween costumes and walk through Algoma High School’s hallways where they see their favorite characters come to life. This year’s walk will feature Paw Patrol, Star Wars, a walk through Batman’s Cave, your favorite Disney princesses, Toy Story, and many more.

After the walk you are invited to visit our craft area, energy zone and concession stand. The craft area offers face painting, temporary tattoos, creative rock coloring and more. The energy zone features a bouncy house, an obstacle course and a lego building station! To top off your time at AHS, don’t forget to take a ride on our train!

New this year, a $1 donation from every child’s admission will be given back to a local charity here in Algoma. We are excited to not only give back to our school but also to our community!

The 13th annual Halloween Walk takes place on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20, 2019, 10am-3pm. The cost of the event is $6 per child and $3 per adult.
