One-Act Theater

“The chances you take, the people you meet, the people you love, the faith that you have. That’s what’s going to define you.” - Denzel Washington

We strive to enrich the lives of students through theater by providing an outlet for self-expression and interpretation of scripted material, and by promoting the confidence necessary to perform for an audience.

One-Act Theater is a Wisconsin Forensics Theater competition for high school students, but is open to middle school students if there is need for cast or if a middle school student shows promise. Students perform a play that must be under 40 minutes in length, which includes set-up and tear down of the set. Additionally, students perform this play for the community. This activity calls for not only a cast, but also a stage crew, lighting technicians, instrumentals, and a videographer.
